CoCo Clubs!

New this year!

CoCo Clubs offer attendees the opportunity to create self-directed interest groups within the context of Costume College. Because the Costume College planning committee is naturally limited by our own areas of interest and expertise, CoCo Clubs provide a way for attendees to help shape the event by bringing their own passions and ideas into the community. We hope these groups will grow into ongoing annual gatherings that foster deeper connections among attendees while also creating opportunities for especially successful or engaging clubs to inspire future programming and larger planning initiatives. In the spirit of Costume College, CoCo Clubs are a collaborative, community-driven endeavor.

As the proposer of a CoCo Club, you serve as its Host. The Host’s primary responsibility is simply to complete the group proposal form, including the club’s area of interest and its meeting time and location. Beyond that, Hosts are welcome to shape their groups in whatever way best suits the interests and personalities of the participants. A Host might organize activities or games, bring snacks, facilitate discussion, coordinate a themed meet-up, or simply provide a gathering point for people with a shared interest. Most importantly, we encourage you to be creative, make connections, and have fun! For questions, please email [email protected].
