Ahoy, adventurers! The seas are endless, the maps are incomplete, and tonight every universe is up for grabs.

Set sail as a pirate from a world that never was. Perhaps you will be a corsair from an alternate history where the Roman Empire still rules the waves, a Victorian sky pirate navigating the clouds, a space-faring buccaneer raiding distant galaxies, or a legendary hero who traded happily ever after for adventuring.

Mash up your favorite worlds, rewrite history, and create the pirate you’ve always wanted to be. What would a superhero look like with a pirate’s swagger? How would a fairy tale princess fare as captain of her own ship? What treasures would a time traveler bring back from the high seas?

The only limit is your imagination—and perhaps the amount of room left in your treasure chest.

One quick note from the captain: This port is shared with civilians and fellow travelers, so keep your pirate finery fit for polite company. Costume College is a welcoming space for everyone. Costumes featuring symbols, uniforms, or imagery associated with real-world hate groups or oppressive regimes—including Nazi or Confederate iconography—should remain overboard. While scallywags, rogues, and ne’er-do-wells are most welcome, all attire should also remain PG-13. Save the truly scandalous loot for waters beyond Costume College—or risk being keelhauled by the CoCo volunteers (figuratively, of course).
