Costume College 2026 Terms & ConditionsThese terms and conditions apply between Costumer’s Guild West, Inc. ("CGW") and those persons registering for and participating in CGW’s Events ("Participant"). 1. PAYMENT: The phrase "COSTUMERS GUILD WEST 3233668920 CA” will appear on your bank or credit card statement. Any returned payment will be assessed a $25.00 fee. Any unsuccessful electronic transaction is subject to a $10.00 processing fee. CGW is not responsible for any bank fees incurred by the Participant. CGW has the sole right to resubmit returned or declined items (plus applicable fees) without prior notice. TERMS: By registering for this Event, Participant agrees to comply fully and completely with all terms and conditions hereof, any event-specific rules at the Event webpage or otherwise announced, and CGW’s rules and regulations. For full list of Costume College policies, please see page here. 3. PRICING: CGW Member rates apply to CGW members ONLY, not guests and/or family. Pricing is automatically generated based on your CGW Membership status. If you are current CGW Member and do not see CGW Member price options, please contact the Costume College Registrar at [email protected]. 4. AVAILABILITY: While the last day to register for Costume College and/or purchase tickets to the Time Traveler's Gala and Sunday Fantasy Tea is July 7, 2026, space at Costume College and tickets for the Time Traveler's Gala and Sunday Fantasy Tea are limited and may sell out before this date. Time Traveler's Gala or Sunday Fantasy Tea tickets will NOT be sold at the door. 5. CLASSES: The Workshops offered at Costume College each have a limited number of spaces and must be registered for in advance via a separate form. Workshop registration opens via lottery on April 9, 2026, 9:30am Pacific Daylight Time. All Workshops are available on a first-come basis and must be paid for at the time of Workshop registration. Those registering for Costume College after April 9, 2026, may not be able to register for Workshops. 6. TOURS: The Tours offered at Costume College each have a limited number of spaces and must be registered for via a separate form. Tour registration opens via lottery on April 9, 2026, 9:30am Pacific Daylight Time. All Tours are available on a first-come basis and must be paid for at the time of tour registration. Attendees who register for Costume College after April 9, 2026, may find that Tours are no longer available. 7. AGE: All Costume College attendees under the age of 18 must present signed permission from a parent or guardian to attend. Please contact the Registrar for a form. If under the age of 16, the attendee must be accompanied to all classes by a parent or guardian who is also a registered Costume College attendee. Minors who are 16 or 17 do not need to have a parent or guardian attend all the same classes with them, but a parent or guardian must be at the hotel at all times while the minor is in the hotel. Any attendee under 18 who wishes to attend a Tour must be accompanied by an adult (additional fees will apply). 8. REFUNDS: Registration fees are partially refundable based on the following schedule:

10. PHOTOGRAPHS: As at any public event, photographs and videos of participants and their guests are taken and posted online. Costume College is a lively event and there is a real possibility that your photograph or a video of you may be taken by Costume College photographers or attendees and thereafter posted on the internet. By attending Costume College, you give your consent to the posting of such photographs and videos by us or others and waive all rights and claims with respect to the posting of such photographs and videos. While we have no control over other people’s websites and social media accounts, Costumer’s Guild West, Inc. does not list names with photos or video on our website or social media accounts without express consent from the person in the photo or video. If you would like a posted photo or video on the Costume College or CGW website removed, please contact the Web Team at [email protected], and it will be taken down. It is harassment to continue to photograph someone who specifically asks you not to take photographs or videos of them or their belongings. If someone asks you not to take such a photo or video, please comply with their request. Please see our anti-harassment policy for further information. PROGRAM: CGW reserves the right to substitute speakers, presenters, facilities, venue and/or any program to be offered at the Event at any time without notice. 12. ANTI-HARASSMENT: Any action or behavior that causes significant interference with convention operations, excessive discomfort to other attendees, or adversely affects the convention’s relationship with its guests, its venues or the public is strictly forbidden and may result in permanent suspension of membership and barred from attending any future events. CGW will not refund you for class(es) missed due to harassing behavior. CGW’s Anti-Harassment policy can be found here. By attending Costume College 2026, you acknowledge this policy and agree to it in full. 13. UNAVAILABILITY; FORCE MAJEURE: CGW will use reasonable efforts to hold the Event. However, you acknowledge that under no circumstances will CGW be responsible for unavailability caused by circumstances beyond CGW’s reasonable control. In the case of a failure to hold the Event, CGW will offer a refund to the Participant. 14. CGW reserves the right to refuse attendance to any individual at any of its Events. Failure to comply with CGW’s rules and regulations is grounds for immediate dismissal from the Event. Persons dismissed from the Event shall not be entitled to a refund. Rev. 10/29/2025 |
