Hotel Reservation Information

Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

Hotel reservations are made using the link provided to all registered attendees directly to the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel. Hotel reservations for Costume College 2026 opens March 9, 2026.  If you registered for Costume College before the hotel reservation opens you will be emailed the reservation link on March 9th. If you register after March 9th the link will be included in your welcome letter. 

Costume College has a discounted room rate (see below). To receive the discounted rate, please use the reservation link provided.  To ensure you receive the discounted rate, book your room by Tuesday, July 7, 2026.  Please note: any reservations made after July 7, 2026, are subject to availability and at prevailing room rates.

Please do not reserve more rooms than you will actually use.  If sharing a room with roommates please have only ONE person in the room make a reservation. 

Cancellations: Due to the demand for hotel rooms as well as CGW’s fiscal need to ensure that booked rooms stay filled (otherwise CGW is required to pay for them) a non-refundable one-night cancellation fee will be charged to hotel reservations that are canceled after July 7, 2026. 

Costume College has a discounted room rates (see below). The discounted rate is good for stays July 29, 2025 through August 5, 2025 based on availability. 

The hotel offers a discounted rate of $169.00 per room (1-4 people), per night, PLUS applicable taxes, for all guests registered with Costume College over the dates of the conference:  July 28-Aug 4, 2026. Extensions for the Costume College rate beyond these dates are at the discretion of the hotel.  You must be a registered student, committee member, teacher or volunteer to receive the discount under the Costume College block.

Heads up! Our group rate of $169 applies to all rooms, whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or with a small group (up to 4 guests). Booking for 1-2 guests? Great! Proceed with your online reservation. Need a room for 3-4 guests? The Hotel's online system adds a $20 fee per extra person. To avoid this, please use the email address included in your Costume College registration welcome letter.

All rooms include mini refrigerators, irons, ironing boards, hairdryer, and coffeemakers Microwave ovens are available on request, though supplies are limited therefore not all requests may be filled. 

Rollaways are available at an additional $10 flat rate per night, for king bedded rooms only (not double bedded rooms).  Please inquire with the hotel for availability; first come, first serve basis.

For those of you planning on hosting guests in your rooms during the evening and into the late night, please try and book a room on the higher floors.  This is to ensure that we are not disturbing any other guests in the hotel, as we will not have an “Entertainment Floor” officially designated.

 

Parking at the Hotel

Self Parking:
Self parking behind the hotel is available to all. You do not need to be a guest of the hotel. The Sheraton Gateway’s parking is provided by Skyview Center Parking and is located at 6101 W. 98th St., directly BEHIND the hotel.  The daily/overnight parking rate is $24 (inclusive), per night. Parking fees are paid at the kiosk near the exit or when exiting. The kiosk accepts all major credit cards

Valet Parking:
For those staying at the hotel, the Sheraton Gateway offers Valet parking for $35 (discounted from $75) plus tax, per night. Valet parking includes in/out privileges and the fee for valet parking will be charged to your room bill. Valet parking is subject to availability.

General Directions to the Hotel

The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel is located at 6101 West Century Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, USA, 90045. From the I-405 exit at Century Boulevard toward LAX Airport.  Turn right on Avion Drive; the hotel will be on the left. Follow the signs for Valet or Self Parking. (For self-parking continue on Avion Drive to the stop sign then go straight to the parking lot.)
 

Disability Accommodation:

It is the policy of the Costumer’s Guild West to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA").  We will not discriminate against any attendee of Costume College.  We will also reasonably accommodate all attendees with disabilities unless the accommodations would cause undue hardship to the Costumer’s Guild West or the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel.
